This travel mug boasts one of the best lids I’ve come across, and with more than 30 different colors and designs to choose from, it caters to everyone’s tastes. I’m particularly impressed (and obsessed!) with the lid design. It features a secure locking mechanism for a tight seal, which easily unlocks to provide the perfect sip size.

Firstly, we compared the Yeti 30-ounce Rambler Tumbler to the BruMate Toddy XL. Both of these tumblers have a leakproof lid, dishwasher-safe constructions and are cupholder-friendly. However, the BruMate has the Yeti beat when it comes to user-friendliness with its MagFlip technology which keeps the lid securely open or closed. The BruMate also has a convenient carrying handle and a silicone sleeve for durability. Although, the BruMate has a lower capacity than the Yeti by five ounces and comes in one more color option.

Next, we compared the BruMate to the Stanley Quencher Tumbler. They both have dishwasher-safe and cupholder-friendly constructions, have a comfortable carrying handle and keep both cold and hot drinks temperature regulated. But, the Stanley tumbler comes in larger sizes than the BruMate XL, it comes with a three-position lid and is made with 90 percent recycled stainless steel, making it far more sustainable than the BruMate. However, when it comes to price point, user-friendliness and color range, the BruMate cannot be beat.

All in all, each of these tumblers has its pros and cons. But, we recommend the Yeti tumbler for those that want a straight-forward travel mug for everyday commutes. However, the Stanley and BruMate tumblers are better suited for those that need a durable mug that can take on hikes in all-season weather.

After thoroughly vetting the BruMate Toddy XL, we have concluded that it is an excellent choice for those that need a sturdy, reliable travel mug. The construction is heavy-duty and easy to use while being dishwasher-safe, leakproof, triple-insulated and available in multiple color options.
