Just when you thought you’d seen every possible use for your portable workbench (the Workmate bench is shown here), here’s yet another great one. The workbench’s solid base makes the perfect stand to support a homemade router tabletop. Just screw a pair of thick blocks to the base of your router table, tighten the sliding jaws to the blocks and you’re ready to go. When you’re finished, you can remove the table and efficiently store it flat to the wall.
